Victorian Flame Mahogany Chest of Drawers. Circa 1870.  Fitted with all new hardwood drawer runners, this elegant looking old chest boasts;Solid Australian Mahogany construction.Traditional shellac polish.Turned Mahogany handles Five hand-dovetailed drawers. Original brass keyhole covers and drawer locks. Bun feet. Lovely woodgrain figuring.Overall fair condition with some repairs to the drawer cockbeading and signs of wear and tear in several areas. All drawers are structurally fine and function ok. The drawer fronts are in surprisingly good condtions (no dents).
