A9013- Restored Victorian Red Cedar Seven Drawer Dresser. Circa 1880. Freshly renewed and finished with a traditional hand French polish, this highly functional chest of drawers features.
Solid Red Cedar construction.
Traditional shellac and beeswax polish.
Seven smooth functioning hand-dovetailed drawers.
Original turned cedar handles complete with Cedar screws.
Original brass drawer keyhole plates and internal locks.
Lockable with key included.
New drawer runners to all drawers.
Original turned Cedar feet.
New hardwood drawer stops.
Replacement internal drawer rails and guides (where required).
Solid and sturdy build.
Very clean drawers (no stains inside).
Another gorgeous example from the late 1800s, all set for everyday use. All drawers are very clean inside, structurally excellent and have been re-glued/renailed and fitted with new runners. All seven sit straight and flush and function seamelessly. The internal drawer rails have been realigned and fitted with replacement guides where required. All the original backboards are in place also
