A9048 -Restored Victorian Cedar Seven Drawer Tallboy. Circa 1890. Thoroughly overhauled inside and out, this stunning example from the late 1800s boasts.
 
Solid Australian Cedar construction.
Traditional high gloss hand French polished and beeswax finish.
Seven as new functioning, structurally excellent hand-dovetailed cedar drawers.
Nice and clean drawers..
Original turned Cedar handles complete with original Cedar screws.
Pristine external Cedar surfaces.
All original brass drawer locks and keyholes.
New timber drawer runners.
New internal drawer guides (most drawers - where required).
Original Cedar drawer stops.
Original turned Cedar legs (Anti scratch pads installed).
 
Another hard to find example in lovely condition. All seven drawers are structurally excellent, have been renailed, aligned and reglued where required, sit straight and flush and function perfectly. New runners installed to all drawers except the two small top right drawers (not required - original runners have minimal wear). The external Cedar plank top and sides are in great original condition with no cracks or splits. The hairline crack to the left front corner of the first long drawer has been repaired with epoxy and secret nailed. Original Cedar backboards in good order. If you are a discerning antique chest shopper, this is one for you!
