A9085 -- Restored Victorian Cedar Dining Table. Circa 1880.Beautifully restored and retaining all of its original patina, this well made table from the late 1800s boasts.
Solid Cedar construction.
Turned legs fitted with anti-scratch pads.
Very solid and sturdy build quality.
Bevelled edge solid Cedar top.
Stunning woodgrain figuring.
Traditional hand French polish (Shellac) finish.
Accommodates six standard height chairs.
Finely crafted and now all set for the next 140 years of use. The original top is in very nice order with a few minor dents and distressed features consistent with age. All the joins are nice and tight (no wobbles). Recessed steel brackets installed to the underside of the table to provide additional strength to the table top joins. The original large flathead screws securing the table have been retightened also.
 
Dimensions (mm) 1515L x 745H x 845W. Height from floor to lowest underside of table = 605mm. Widest span between legs. = 1180mm.
